Junk Sales

Notes:

Whoa, boy, this month was slow. I can’t say I listed much, but the totals speak for themselves. I was particularly pleased to flip the Atari system and the metal box jump locally.

Whoops

Also, I listed the LEGO Ninjago lot as an auction, thinking it might be fun to watch the total over the week. But some fella bought it within the hour for my reserve price of $50. Not bad. All profit.

Brand new email

Okay, it’s not new, but it’s been my focus this last month to restructure Flipshark Bolos, my subscription email list.

I’m shifting to every other week, so I’m not mentally exhausted each time I have to slap something together. Plus, I made an ebook to highlight 25 bolos from the past year. My hope was I could entice some new subscribers with this ebook as a jumpstart. So far, I’ve got one.

Still waiting…

In regards to the junk warehouse and recycling job, we’re still waiting. Last I heard the lawyers still had “work” to do. Let’s hope I hear something new soon. There were 900 people laid off from the full-time gig this past month. Time is ticking.

Going forward

With all that being said, what’s the plan?

Right now, I’m working to improve my Instagram presence and feed my email list. I think they’ll go hand in hand. But honestly I think that means I need to start building better relationships. Getting to know my audience better and feeding them value on a more consistent basis.

Let’s see what we can do in the next few weeks…
