We’re in business
It’s official - I took the time to finally make Flipshark LLC. It was surprisingly easy to register with the state, pay some money, and bam! I have a EIN number now.
Next up: get a business bank account and start paying those taxes

I’m pleased to see my shift to focus more on the junk trucks paid off. I made almost exactly the same amount of profit in April as I did in March (~$1,600) but this time with more junk truck flips and less thrifting.
It had to be done. I have such a great opportunity and the thrift stores have been getting greedy.
Some highlights: Segway Drift W1 electric roller skates ($100), a Maitland Smith end table ($100), Gear Wrench tap and die kit ($100), and a ton of conspiracy books.

Instagram fell by the wayside. The weeks fly by so quickly that I don’t have time to generate some good valuable content. I think I just need some time to sit and batch some ideas. It’s not hard making some posts, but it’s just not the thing I want to do at the end of the work day.
With that being said, I didn’t gain many email subscribers either. I need to spark a change.
Going forward
Now that Flipshark LLC is official, I need to get right with the government:
Start a separate bank account
Maybe open a PO box
Learn more about quarterly taxes
Sales are heating up
In addition, I want to ramp up the junk truck sales and see what we can really do. It’s all free to find, so I might as well flip it hard and fast. Maybe even add a garage sale in the mix as the summer starts to heat up.

Both sides need some help - @flipsharkdecor and @flipsharkfigures One has been a barren waste-land of past purchases and the other is just some regular gloating of my victories.
I think these platforms can be good tools to find friends and fans, but I need to put some more effort in.

Not quantity, but quality. I like writing the weekly email but I think more people should know about it. How do I do that? I’m determined to figure it out. Maybe just ask ‘em, right?
